Job summary

Argo Natural Resources is seeking an Environmental Coordinator for Ironbark No 1 in Queensland. You will drive environmental compliance and performance across the site, working with project teams, stakeholders and contractors to identify and manage risks and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science/Management or related field.
• Current Open Class Driver’s Licence is required.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, mining, utilities or similar industry.
• Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance obligations.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Environmental Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in driving environmental compliance and performance across the site. Working closely with project teams, internal stakeholders and contractors, you’ll help identify and manage environmental risks, ensure regulatory requirements are met, and maintain high environmental standards.

With a strong focus on practical environmental management and continuous improvement, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, support sustainable outcomes and help shape a strong environmental culture across the operation.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline, or be currently working towards a relevant qualification
• Current Open Class Driver’s Licence
• Relevant environmental experience in construction, infrastructure, mining, utilities or a similar industry.
• Working knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
