Job summary

Greenchip Recycling in Baranduda, Victoria is seeking an Environmental/Operations Compliance Coordinator to manage regulatory obligations and support daily site operations. You will maintain records, coordinate sampling, assist with EPA Victoria requirements and help develop EMS procedures.

The role suits a detail-oriented, organised communicator who is comfortable working with management and operations teams on-site to improve reporting, records, and compliance systems.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organise environmental compliance records and documentation.
• Assist with EPA Victoria regulations and site operating licences.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and testing programs, including arranging laboratory analysis and maintaining results.
• Assist with the preparation and updating of environmental management plans, procedures and risk assessments.
• Conduct routine site inspections and assist with identifying and resolving potential compliance issues.
• Support environmental reporting, regulatory submissions, audits and EPA inspections.
• Liaise with external laboratories, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Work closely with operational staff to ensure compliance procedures are understood and followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve record-keeping, reporting and environmental management systems.
