Job summary

Hawk Professionals is seeking a hands-on Compliance, Operations and Process Improvement professional in Victoria. The role involves translating regulatory and operational requirements into practical procedures and owning the implementation of compliance systems.

You will work closely with the CEO and external advisers to ensure EPA Victoria, workplace safety and environmental standards are met while driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance coordination or process improvement.
• Background in operational administration or quality systems.
• Safety coordination experience is valued.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to document procedures and implement systems.
• Proactive, hands-on communicator with management and staff.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EPA, environmental, safety and other compliance requirements.
• Develop, document and implement SOPs, checklists and internal controls.
• Maintain compliance registers, records and reporting deadlines.
• Coordinate with external compliance, safety and environmental advisers.
• Identify process gaps and drive practical operational improvements.
• Follow up to ensure procedures are followed by staff and management.
• Work with the CEO to prioritise and implement compliance initiatives.
• Provide backup to finance and bookkeeping as needed.
