Glencore recruits an Environment and Community Coordinator to support environmental and stakeholder engagement across the Ulan Complex projects. Based in the Ulan Mine Complex or the Hunter Valley, you will coordinate approvals, compliance, and engagement activities, traveling regularly to project sites to support exploration and delivery.

The role focuses on development phases rather than day-to-day operations, reporting to the Project Manager and collaborating with consultants and regulators

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related field.
• Mining, infrastructure or related industry experience.
• Experience with environmental approvals and project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate community liaison and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Manage landholder access arrangements and communications.
• Support environmental approvals, impact assessments and EMS.
• Coordinate monitoring, inspections, audits and reporting.
• Oversee consultants and contractors for studies and field programs.
• Build positive relationships with regulators and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legislation and governance.
• Assist with incident investigation and corrective actions.
