Job summary

Glencore Coal Assets Australia (GCAA) seeks an Environment and Community Coordinator to support environmental approvals, compliance, community liaison, and stakeholder engagement across exploration programs and project delivery. Based at Ulan Mine Complex or Hunter Valley, this full-time role requires travel to Ulan and other locations, collaborating with landholders, regulators, and internal teams.

• Tertiary qualification in environmental discipline required.
• Experience in environmental/community management in mining/related industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate community liaison and stakeholder engagement with landholders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate access arrangements and stakeholder communications for exploration programs and environmental studies.
• Support preparation of environmental approvals, impact assessments, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Manage consultants and contractors for environmental, community, and project-related studies.
