Job summary

Glencore is seeking an Environment and Community Coordinator to support the environmental and community management for the Ulan Complex projects. The role involves coordinating approvals, stakeholder engagement and compliance across exploration, planning and delivery phases.

Based at Ulan Mine Complex or in the Hunter Valley, you will travel regularly to project locations, including a minimum of three days per week at Ulan, and work a Monday–Friday roster.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in environmental and/or community management within the mining, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.

Responsibilities

Coordinate community liaison and stakeholder engagement with landholders, regulators and other stakeholders.
Manage environmental approvals, impact assessments, EM plans and regulatory submissions.
Coordinate environmental monitoring, inspections, audits, and reporting for project activities.
Lead consultants and contractors in environmental, community and project studies.
Develop relationships with regulators, landholders and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, legislation and governance requirements.
