Job summary

SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Environmental Consultant for our Environmental Approvals, Closure and Management team in Perth/Subiaco. This permanent, full-time role targets early-career professionals with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

The position offers hybrid work in WA with opportunities to collaborate across WA and NT projects. You will contribute to environmental impact assessments, licences, and audits, while developing your career within a multidisciplinary setting

Qualifications

• Autonomous, proactive worker with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client liaison.
• Valid driver’s license and fieldwork readiness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental approvals, closure, and management projects for diverse clients.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality reports and permits.
• Assist with site audits, field studies, and desktop assessments as needed.
• Collaborate with WA and NT teams to leverage cross-project learnings.
