Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Western Australia is seeking an Environmental Consultant (Approvals) to coordinate and deliver environmental approvals for mining, energy, and infrastructure projects.

You will work with industry specialists and clients, applying WA and Commonwealth legislation to achieve compliant outcomes. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities to develop project management and stakeholder relationships, with a focus on high-profile initiatives

Qualifications

• Must have experience providing environmental approvals advice and assessment services.
• Knowledge of WA and Federal environmental legislation and approvals framework.
• Experience with mining and/or linear infrastructure projects.
• Experience in preparing Native Vegetation Clearing Permits, Environmental Referrals, Works Approvals, and Mining Proposals is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the team by providing specialist environmental approvals advice and assessment services on projects in mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
• Provide technical support ensuring project outcomes meet client and Stantec expectations.
• Plan, coordinate and manage approvals projects.
• Work within budgets and timeframes, delivering high-quality deliverables.
• Identify opportunities and develop business within the approvals team.
