Job summary

EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd in Mackay is seeking experienced Environmental Officers/Advisors/Consultants for a 1–2 year assignment with possible extensions in the Mackay region on road construction and maintenance projects.

You will provide timely, compliant environment services to keep construction programs on schedule, manage resources and funds, and ensure compliance with legislation while coordinating with stakeholders including communities, councils and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
• 2–3 years’ experience on green or brownfield infrastructure projects.
• Experience on TMR Roads Infrastructure Projects or Australian road authorities.
• Desktop and field surveillance, data collection and analysis.
• Experience in erosion and sediment control per IECA and WAR standards.

• Provide timely, efficient, compliant environment services to avoid delays to construction programs.
• Managing resources and funds to meet the needs of the program.
• Ensuring the program complies with legislation and improves processes and procedures.
