Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a proactive technology professional to govern and optimise ERP environments and release controls as part of a TechnologyOne transformation program. You will drive configuration governance, manage deployment activities and partner with project teams to ensure stable, secure environments across development, testing, training and production.

You will bring experience in ERP implementations, environment governance and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable enterprise

Qualifications

About The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Systems Manager, you will play a key role in establishing, governing and optimising the environments, configurations, releases and deployment controls that support BMD’s TechnologyOne transformation program and ongoing enterprise systems operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing and governing TechnologyOne environments across development, testing, training and production.
• Establishing and maintaining configuration management standards, controls and governance frameworks.
• Coordinating release, deployment, migration and cutover activities.
• Ensuring system environments are stable, secure, available and fit for purpose.
• Identifying and managing environment-related risks, issues and dependencies.
• Driving continuous improvement across environment management, release and deployment processes.
• Building strong relationships with project teams, vendors, implementation partners and key stakeholders.

About You

You are a proactive and collaborative technology professional with experience managing complex ERP implementations and enterprise application environments. You bring strong technical governance skills, a structured approach to environment and release management, and the ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Demonstrated experience in Environment Management, Configuration Management, Release Management or a similar discipline.
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations or technology transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of environment governance, release management and deployment practices.
• Experience coordinating testing environments, data migration activities and production releases.
• Knowledge of SaaS platforms, security controls and operational governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across project, architecture, security, operations and business teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience with TechnologyOne environments and implementations will be highly regarded.
