Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Supervisor Environmental Engineering (Ventilation/ Occupational Hygiene) to maintain ventilation and hygiene systems across operations, projects and ventures. The role emphasizes safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will oversee risk assessments, training, and development of best practices while driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualifications

• Training in legislation, management system formulation and implementation, SH&E integration.
• Grade 12 with physical science & Mathematics; MEC/C MEC papers or CMEC/SAIOH registration as Occupational Hygiene Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Lead ventilation and occupational hygiene programs.
• Manage budgets and cost control within the department.
• Ensure SHE compliance and incident investigations.
• Coordinate risk assessments and reporting for regulatory requirements.
• Develop and mentor staff to improve performance and safety culture.
