Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment Officer to join the HR team at the Biloela site in Queensland. This role oversees the end-to-end recruitment process for apprentices, trainees, production and maintenance roles, with a focus on creating an engaging onboarding experience.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will coordinate applicant platforms, build relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring consistent candidate management and confidential record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar recruitment role.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to provide high-level customer service.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Q-fever vaccinated or willing to get.
• Qualifications in Business/Human Resources/Training or related disciplines.
• Volume/bulk recruitment and assessment centre experience.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Responsibilities

• Manage internal recruitment processes, including talent attraction activities (advertisement drafting, posting), phone screening, candidate selection, interviewing, reference checking through to onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment activities, such as pre-employment medical assessments and VEVO compliance checks.
• Prepare letters of offer and onboarding documentation.
• Assist with planning and coordination of local recruitment campaigns and attraction strategies.
• Build strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Human Resources team as required.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven RecruitmentOfficer to join our Human Resources team based atour Biloela site in Queensland.
