Job summary

Department of Regional NSW is seeking an entry-level Project Manager to join the Hunter North West Region. You will assist senior managers with planning approval, design development, procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects across regional NSW.

The role supports the broader multi-disciplinary team working on civil, electrical, and civil works projects, with a hands-on, collaborative approach. We offer a 35-hour base week, flexible start/finish times, flex time, and generous recreation

Qualifications

• Qualifications in civil engineering, architecture, building or construction with 1–2 years practical design or construction experience.
• Enthusiasm and drive to deliver positive outcomes as part of a team.
• Hands-on, practical mindset to get things done.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a diverse environment.
• Current NSW Driver Licence with willingness to travel to regional towns.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Project Managers with planning approval, design development, procurement and delivery.
• Support across NSW regional infrastructure projects and regional teams.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary project delivery and advisory services.
