Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidate with interest in OHHM; training provided.
• Ability to travel and work out of Sydney office.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel regionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Australian citizenship or rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Asbestos inspections, sampling and surveying.
• Asbestos air monitoring and fibre counting (training provided).
• Occupational exposure monitoring for hazards including dust, diesel particulate matter, welding fumes, noise, asbestos fibres and chemicals.
• Developing sampling plans.
• Respirator and hearing protection fit testing.
• Reviewing sample data and entering it into company databases.
• Conducting field task observations.
• Providing accurate and reliable data for technical reports and proposals.
• Contributing to SLR projects.
• Regional travel will be required.
