Job summary

Unisys is seeking a junior Field Engineer in Australia to support desktop and laptop hardware, software and peripherals, following guided processes. You’ll assist with device maintenance and basic network/server testing in a structured environment, with a focus on completing certification tasks.

Gaining familiarity with field engineering practices, you will help ensure client satisfaction and SLA compliance while updating incident tickets and contributing to special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 1 year’s experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair desktops, laptops and monitors and related software/peripherals.
• Assist with maintenance on products and devices.
• Perform low-complexity installs, moves, adds and changes on equipment.
• Assist with network, server, device and application testing and certification.
• Ensure client satisfaction and meet SLAs; update tickets in the system.
• Follow documented procedures and complete certification requirements.
