Job summary

The HR Ally in Perth is seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead a complex retail transformation program. The role requires extensive experience in utilities, stakeholder management, and delivering large-scale enterprise changes across customer, billing, and retail platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years in similar leadership roles, with a deep understanding of Western Australian or government-owned utility environments.

Qualifications

• Strong utilities sector experience, preferably in Australian retail energy or utilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing strategic relationships with product vendors and executive leadership teams.
• Experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformations involving customer, billing, and retail platforms.
• Prior experience in Western Australia or government-owned utility environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, governance, and accountability for the retail transformation program.
• Manage executive stakeholders, Steering Committees, and key decision-making forums while maintaining alignment to program objectives.
• Partner with the utility, product vendor, and delivery partners to establish a single source of truth for scope, schedule, risks, and outcomes.
• Drive proactive risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management to protect business operations and customer outcomes.
• Prevent scope creep and ensure all changes are formally assessed, governed, and approved. Hold vendors and delivery partners accountable for quality, delivery commitments, and program outcomes.
• Work closely with business leaders to ensure parallel operational activities are not adversely impacted during the transformation.
