Job summary

Victoria Police is seeking an experienced Enterprise Master Scheduler to shape and mature project delivery across the organisation from its Melbourne CBD base. The role leads scheduling standards, assurance, and integrated delivery planning to support governance and decision-making.

In collaboration with the EPMO, the successful candidate will drive schedule reliability, manage dependencies, and support senior stakeholders with evidence-based insights for strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project controls, scheduling or PMO within large organisations.
• Advanced expertise in schedule development and critical path analysis.
• Experience conducting schedule assurance, health checks or independent reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and continuous improvement of enterprise scheduling standards and controls.
• Provide independent schedule assurance and assess plan realism.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify schedule risks and dependencies.
• Identify at-risk projects and provide actionable recommendations for governance.
• Develop schedule recovery strategies with project teams for delivery challenges.
• Facilitate enterprise planning activities, including dependency mapping and milestone alignment.
• Lead schedule health checks and assurance activities to strengthen project controls.
• Provide enterprise-wide reporting and insights for portfolio governance.
