Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Enrolments Manager is responsible for leading domestic and international student recruitment, enrolment conversion and pipeline management, while delivering an outstanding experience for prospective families from enquiry through to commencement. The role is responsible for ensuring optimal student enrolment outcomes through strategic planning, data-informed decision-making and exceptional relationship management.
Working closely with the Principal and Director of Advancement, the successful candidate will oversee enrolment enquiries, applications, confirmations and CRICOS compliance requirements, while maintaining accurate enrolment records and managing future pipeline and waiting lists. As one of the first points of contact for prospective families, the Enrolments Manager plays a vital role in showcasing the College's values, educational philosophy and sense of community.
This position is an integral part of the Advancement Team, contributing to the College's reputation for excellence through outstanding customer service and meaningful engagement with current and prospective families. The Enrolments Officer reports directly to this role.
This full-time parental leave position will commence in November 2026 and conclude in March 2028, offering an opportunity to contribute to the next exciting chapter of Clayfield College's growth and development.
Professional Responsibilities
These responsibilities are not exhaustive, and other relevant responsibilities may be performed by the Enrolments Manager, provided that such duties are appropriate having due regard to the nature and purpose of the position.
- Respond promptly, and in an effective, friendly, sensitive and professional manner to all domestic and international student enrolment enquiries, whether received verbally, by telephone, online, or by email.
- Ensure prospective students and their families receive a positive, affirming experience from initial enquiry through every stage prior to and during entry into the College such that strong parental engagement is achieved.
- Administer communication, enrolment Census and audits, weekly report details for the Senior Leadership Team, monthly report details for College Council, data collection, data entry and fee collection in relation to the application and enrolment processes.
- Manage domestic and international enrolment records digitally ensuring accurate student family information is current and correct at all times in the College database.
- In consultation with the Director of Advancement, develop and implement student recruitment and enrolment conversion activities to ensure optimal student numbers.
- Proactively manage the enrolments service delivery across the whole recruitment to maximise conversion rates at each stage of the process, and alert the Director of Advancement to any areas for potential address.
- Maintain and manage enrolment pipeline and waiting lists.
- Conduct College tours with prospective families ensuring parents and students understand the College’s educational programs and facilities.
- Arrange interviews for future enrolments with the appropriate Senior Leadership Team member and prepare detailed interview folders for these interviews.
- Coordinate the Orientation Program for new students in liaison with the Director of Senior School or Director of Junior School, to ensure new student commencement and transition is efficient and smooth. This also includes ensuring all new students receive information regarding booklist, uniforms, medical questionnaires prior to commencement.
- Coordinate all scheduled Enrolment events such as information evenings, open mornings and transition events.
- Represent the College at school expos, information evenings and other key community events as requested by the Director of Advancement.
- In collaboration with the Director of Advancement and Advancement Team, ensure the suite of enrolment collateral including but not limited to handbooks, flyers and the College website, remain up-to-date.
- Coordinate the departing student process, including preparing departure letters and obtaining exit data via surveys/interviews.
- Assist the Director of Advancement to coordinate the College’s Scholarships and Bursaries Program.
- Supervise the Enrolments Officer in the day-to-day enrolment activities.
Reporting Relationships
The Enrolments Manager is ultimately responsible to the Principal, however, on a day-to-day basis, reports to the Director of Advancement. The Enrolments Officer reports to this position.

- An appropriate tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience within a School Enrolments team, or a related field.
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Possess sound judgement and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in TASS and Funnel (School CRM).
- A high standard of time management and organisation skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
- A demonstrated ability to work to demanding deadlines and to adapt and operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.
- Possess a systematic approach to work.
