Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group in Hamilton, Victoria, is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse for a permanent part-time and casual position. You will work with the Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and care-planning.

The role requires AHPRA registration and at least 6 months in aged care, with shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

• Minimum 6 months experience in acute or aged care.
• Familiarity with SARAH is preferred; quick learner acceptable.

• Competitive hourly rate $41.56-$44.66 depending on experience plus superannuation

Working closely with the Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role of delivering high-quality and person-cantered care.

Applying your nursing expertise and knowledge, you will provide a range of care services to ensure that our consumers’ health and wellbeing are maintained. Some of the key responsibilities are administration of medication, wound management, developing and updating care plans whilst maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Work well with other staff and health professionals to provide respectful, safe, and person-centred care.
• Follow care plans and workplace policies to give quality nursing care.
• Guide and support personal care workers in their daily tasks when needed.
• Notice changes in a consumer’s health and report or act on them, including contacting doctors or family if required.

What You Will Need

• AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 6 months experience working in acute or aged care
• Familiarity with SARAH is preferred; however, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly is also acceptable
• Able to keep things running smoothly, even during busy times.
• Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate requiring current National Police Clearance. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
