Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for a casual role in Hamilton, Victoria. With a roster spanning Monday to Sunday, you will perform clinical care, documentation, and support for residents in a collaborative team.

AHPRA registration and a willingness to work across shifts are essential. You will contribute to person-centred care, support residents and families, and participate in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse.
• Current National Police Clearance preferred.
• Willingness to work across a casual roster including weekends.
• Able to stay organised and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Care Coordinator with clinical documentation and care planning.
• Lead and support new admissions and care planning processes.
• Communicate effectively with families and other care partners.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.

• Competitive hourly rate of $41.59- $59.31depending on experience plus superannuation

About the Role

Are you a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months' experience and current AHPRA registration, looking for a rewarding casual opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of older people?

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Care Coordinator with clinical documentation, care planning, and leadership of the care team

• Actively participating in quality improvement and risk management activities

What You Will Need

• AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse
• Familiarity with Lee care is preferred; however, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly is also acceptable
• Able to keep things running smoothly, even during busy times.
• Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate requiring current National Police Clearance. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
