Job summary

Collarcare is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care across Mackay & Central Queensland. You will work with RNs, carers, and the care team to support residents with dignity and compassion.

Applicants must have AHPRA EN registration, Australian aged care experience (not placements), vaccination requirements, police check, ID, work rights, CPR/First Aid, and NDIS screening or willingness to obtain. Flexible shifts and a supportive workplace are provided.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Australian Working Aged Care facility experience (not placements).
• 2 COVID-19 vaccinations + booster.
• Flu vaccination.
• Valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
• 100 Points of ID.
• Valid Work Rights.
• Current CPR & First Aid.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality clinical care and support to residents.
• Assisting with medication administration under the direction of an RN.
• Monitoring residents' health and reporting changes in condition.
• Assisting residents with personal care and daily activities.
• Supporting meal consumption and monitoring nutrition and hydration.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures.
• Working collaboratively with RNs, carers, allied health professionals and other members of the care team.
• Providing person-centred care in accordance with aged care standards.
• Supporting residents and their families with compassion and respect.
