Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the Neurosurgical team at Nepean Hospital. The role focuses on delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centred care to patients with complex neurosurgical needs, under supervision of senior staff.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, support patients through treatment and recovery, and contribute to ongoing clinical practice development within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Active registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with AHPRA.
• Experience in Acute Nursing.
• Ability to organise and prioritise work.
• Ability to provide person-centred care.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centred care in Neurosurgical Nursing.
• Work with experienced nurses, medical staff and allied health professionals.
• Support patients throughout treatment and recovery and develop clinical skills.

What you will bring to the role

• Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute Nursing
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
• Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
• Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work a flexible roster
