Job summary

Respect Cohuna Village is hiring a permanent part-time Enrolled Nurse to work with our aged care team. The role involves supporting admissions, clinical assessments, medication administration and documentation as part of a collaborative care team.

You will contribute to care planning and resident wellbeing while upholding standards of compassionate, person-centred care for our residents and their families.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration are required.
  • Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Strong clinical, communication and documentation skills.

Permanent Part-Time Enrolled Nurse – Respect Cohuna Village

At Respect Cohuna Village, we're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team in a permanent part-time capacity.

This position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of our residents while working alongside a supportive and committed team.

Please note: The roster for this position is fixed and non-negotiable. Applicants must be available to work the following roster:

Week 1

  • Monday – Afternoon Shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Tuesday – Afternoon Shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Friday – Morning Shift, 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Saturday – Morning Shift, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Week 2

  • Thursday – Afternoon Shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Friday – Afternoon Shift, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll work alongside our Registered Nurses and dedicated care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Your day will include:

  • Supporting resident admissions and ongoing clinical assessments.
  • Administering medications safely and accurately.
  • Maintaining clear, accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Contributing to resident care planning, reviews and evaluations.
  • Monitoring resident wellbeing and escalating concerns when required.
  • Working collaboratively with residents, families and the broader care team.
  • Helping create a safe, respectful and welcoming environment where every resident is treated with dignity and compassion.

Essential Requirements
  • Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent).
  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Knowledge and understanding of aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Strong clinical, communication and documentation skills.
  • Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work the advertised permanent part-time roster.
