Job summary

Respect Group Limited in regional Australia is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to work alongside Registered Nurses to support clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing, and help create a safe, respectful care environment where dignity guides daily practice.

You will conduct admissions, maintain documentation, administer medications, monitor health changes, and engage in team handovers to deliver safe, person-centred care while developing your skills through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Nursing and AHPRA registration with 2+ years post-graduate experience.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
  • Flexibility and professionalism with shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing assessments with residents and families to identify care needs and support individualized care planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation reflecting care delivery and resident outcomes.
  • Administer medications safely and ensure correct handling, storage, and record-keeping.
  • Monitor residents’ health, report changes promptly to Registered Nurses, and support the care team in delivering safe, person-centred care.
  • Participate in team handovers, care planning discussions, and initiatives that promote a safe, respectful environment for residents.

No two days are the same! As Enrolled Nurse, you will:

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
  • Strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to monitor, assess, and respond to changes in residents’ health.
  • Knowledge of residential care practices, care planning, clinical documentation, and the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.
  • Understanding of aged care accreditation processes and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
  • Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), required immunisations, and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.
