Job summary

Pembroke School invites an experienced educator to lead Enrichment and Extension for Middle School. This permanent role (3-year POR) focuses on high-ability identification, differentiation within the mainstream curriculum, and developing challenging learning opportunities across years 7–10.

You will work within the Inclusive Education Team, collaborating with staff to implement an evidence-based program and coordinate extension timetables.

Qualifications

• Must be well-versed in Gifted Education and Inclusive Education.
• Able to research, develop and lead change in this area.
• Strong communication skills to foster relationships with students, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review an Evidence Based Identification Program with a transparent and systematic assessment process for high-ability students.
• Design and implement a scope and sequence for Enrichment and Extension for Years 7–10.
• Coordinate evidence-based programming options that challenge high-ability students.
• Collaborate to timetable extension lessons with relevant staff.
