Job summary

UTS College seeks an experienced Program Manager, English to lead the English program, preparing international students for pathways to UTS Foundation Studies and degree programs. The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a focus on student-centred outcomes.

You will oversee teaching excellence, QA processes and stakeholder collaboration across Sydney and TN E locations, while driving growth and quality education in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in TESOL or Applied Linguistics with ELICOS teaching certification.
• Significant experience leading within ELICOS/EAP environments and improving student outcomes.
• Proven success building and motivating high-performing teaching teams in dynamic settings.
• Deep expertise in English language pedagogy, curriculum design and academic quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of ESOS, National Code and NEAS Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the English program across Sydney and TN E locations, ensuring high-quality teaching and student outcomes.
• Drive curriculum innovation, teaching practices and student engagement.
• Contribute to academic initiatives and quality assurance processes across the College.
• Support transnational education partnerships with QA, reporting and compliance.
• Promote workforce capability and leadership through recruitment, performance management and coaching.
