• Post-graduate qualifications in TESOL (see NEAS reference).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate day-to-day RELA curriculum delivery and administration.
• Be responsible for day-to-day operations of RELA.
• Undertake the academic delivery of the School’s High School Preparation programme.
• Design and implement ELICOS and High School Preparation curriculum and other ELICOS programmes.
• Provide termly reports on student progress and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians, Heads of Year and the Heads of Secondary regarding student progress and areas of concern.
• Establish and review students' learning goals/outcomes and modify curriculum programmes accordingly.
• Create a positive learning environment that enhances student learning.
• Communicate with parents and the International Student Coordinator about student learning and progress and assist with intervention strategies if required.
• Ensure compliance with RELA and School policies, and updating these when required in consultation with the Registrar.
• Work closely with the Registrar, Marketing, Student Services and Finance units to achieve RELA objectives.
• Maintain compliance with the ESOS Act, National Code and National ELICOS Standards.
• Complete and coordinate NEAS audits and accreditation processes as required.
• Attend professional development workshops and stay up to date with best practices in EALD education.
• Teach other classes/subjects/undertake other duties as requested by the Head of Secondary School (Academics).
