Job summary

HR Surveyors in Queensland is seeking an Engineering Surveyor with 2–4 years of industry experience to deliver survey solutions across roads, pipelines, bridges, and buildings. Reporting to the QLD Manager, you will plan daily tasks, operate Trimble or Leica equipment, and liaise with clients to meet specifications.

You should be proficient in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and 12D, have a current Australian driver's licence and White Card, and possess strong organisational and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and/or 12D.
• Hands-on experience with Trimble and/or Leica survey equipment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily survey tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Assist/perform accurate calculations, drafting, and reporting using industry-standard software.
• Liaise directly with clients to ensure specifications are met and exceeded.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient, quality outcomes.
• Operate Trimble or Leica equipment to conduct precise fieldwork.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and professionalism are upheld in every task.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a new skilled and motivated professional to join our QLD team with work spanning from Sunshine Coast to Northern NSW.

We specialise in Civil, Building, Rail, and Drone Surveying, and pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, technical excellence, and long-term client relationships.

The Opportunity

We are open to applications Engineering Surveyors with a minimum of 2-4 years' industry experience who can hit the ground running. Reporting to the QLD Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering survey solutions across a range of engineering projects including roads, pipelines, bridges, buildings, and feature surveys.

Key Responsibilities

You are a proactive, detail-oriented surveyor with a proven track record and a genuine passion for your work. You bring:
