Job summary

University of New England (UNE) in Armidale seeks an Engineering Services Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across electrical, mechanical, fire safety and emergency services. You will manage service delivery, compliance and asset management platforms to align with UNE's Strategic Plan.

The role reports to the Associate Director Facilities and Operational Services and requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, delivering safe and efficient engineering

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire compliance management incl. statutory requirements, AS, EFSM.
• Ability to conceptualise and develop strategic asset and maintenance plans; manage mechanical, electrical and fire services delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for electrical, mechanical, fire safety and emergency services.
• Own data, digital systems and asset management platforms; ensure compliant and efficient service delivery.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical and fire/emergency services; drive continuous improvement.
