Job summary

The University of New England seeks a Deputy Director, Facilities & Operational Services to provide strategic leadership for UNE's physical environment, safety, and compliance. This executive role oversees Campus and Trades Services, sustainability reporting, and emergency management, aligning operations with the Strategic Plan 2026–2035.

You will lead diverse teams, drive digital improvements, and partner with the Estate Planning & Capital Delivery unit to inform capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safety, compliance, and excellence of UNE's physical environment
• Manage Campus and Trades Services, overseeing critical maintenance and improvements
• Hold strategic accountability for Environmental Sustainability and climate-related financial disclosure (CRFD) obligations
• Oversee Emergency Management frameworks
• Collaborate with the Deputy Director, Estate Planning & Capital Delivery to deliver unified service to the University community
• Ensure operational intelligence and asset condition data inform future capital investments
