Job summary

Dreamworld is seeking an experienced Engineering Safety & Training Specialist to join our Engineering team, driving safety, training and compliance across operations.

You will develop and deliver engaging training, coordinate competency assessments, support risk assessments and coach staff to foster a strong safety culture. A WHS-focused background and relevant training qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Develop and deliver engaging technical and safety training programs.
• Coordinate competency assessments and refresher training; maintain training records.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering engaging technical and safety training programs.
• Coordinating competency assessments, refresher training and maintaining accurate training records.
• Supporting risk assessments, safety inspections, audits and safe work procedures.
• Reviewing contractor safety documentation and identifying opportunities to improve safety outcomes.
• Coaching and supporting team members to build a strong safety culture.
