Job summary

Indigitise Pty Ltd is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to help establish the Integrated Sensor Architecture National Office (ISANO) within the Defence Army. The role coordinates Defence engineering, sensor integration, standards implementation, technical assurance, prototyping, and test and evaluation activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining the project plan, work breakdown structure and schedule; managing budgets, resources, risks and dependencies; coordinating engineering reviews

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or closely related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, computer science or systems science.
• PM accreditation or immediate eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 15 years’ engineering or project management experience.
• Experience managing complex engineering, systems integration, ICT, C4I or Defence capability projects.
• NV1 clearance at commencement and ability to maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project plan, WBS and schedule.
• Manage budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering reviews and governance forums.
• Report progress to Army, Defence and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate Defence engineering, sensor integration, standards implementation, technical assurance, prototyping, and test and evaluation activities.

Mandatory requirements

• Relevant master’s degree in project or program management, engineering management, MBA, management studies, or a closely related discipline
  
• Technical bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, computer science, systems science, or equivalent
  
• Recognised project management accreditation, or demonstrated immediate eligibility to obtain one
  
• At least 15 years’ engineering or project management experience
  
• Experience managing complex engineering, systems integration, ICT, C4I or Defence capability projects
  
• NV1 clearance at commencement and ability to maintain it
