McCosker Contracting Pty Ltd invites expressions of interest from experienced engineering professionals to support a Cairns region project on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, with roles including Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer and Site Engineer. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in civil construction, bulk earthworks, infrastructure or mining.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of project works.
• Assisting with project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
• Coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Preparing work packs, technical documentation, and project reports.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Managing quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Supporting procurement and contract administration activities.
• Maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with construction, commercial, and client stakeholders.
