Job summary

Decobu in Perth, WA, seeks an experienced Associate Director – Engineering Operations to lead day-to-day performance of multidisciplinary engineering teams. Qualifications

• More than 10 years of post-graduate experience in building services engineering consultancy.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of building services design, project delivery, coordination, compliance and Australian regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects, resources, budgets, fees, forecasts and project profitability.
• Strong business acumen and experience in client relationship management, fee proposals and business development.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operations.
• Professional registration or chartered status will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams and act as operational second-in-command.
• Oversee delivery of multidisciplinary projects with resourcing, coordination, quality and compliance.
• Maintain oversight of budgets, forecasts, variations, WIP, invoicing and profitability.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and contractors and support proposals and tenders.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations, resources and capacity; lead continuous improvements.
• Provide clear reporting on resources, delivery, financial performance and risks.
