Leidos Australia is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive multidisciplinary capability across complex projects and environments. You will align people, priorities, governance and resources with customer needs to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Lead, develop and coordinate engineering teams, oversee delivery and ensure risk-aware, timely progress. Collaboration with program leaders and technical authorities is essential for success.

Formación

• Experience leading engineering or technical teams in a complex project, product or operational environment.
• Capability in workforce planning, resource prioritisation, coaching and professional capability development.
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycle, technical governance, assurance, risk and quality management practices.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities across competing priorities and dependencies.
• Ability to engage customers, senior leaders, delivery teams and technical specialists.
• Ability to communicate technical and delivery matters clearly and support timely decision‑making.
• Advantageous: experience leading geographically dispersed or matrixed engineering teams; knowledge of systems engineering, Agile delivery or DevSecOps; exposure to regulated, safety‑critical, defence or mission‑focused environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering capability across complex projects and operational environments.
• Create the conditions for teams to deliver quality outcomes by aligning people, technical priorities, governance and resources with program and customer needs.
• Oversee engineering delivery, ensuring technical activities are appropriately planned, governed and aligned with schedule, quality and risk expectations.
• Partner with program leaders, customers and technical authorities to resolve priorities, dependencies and engineering challenges.
• Improve engineering frameworks, assurance practices, knowledge sharing and collaboration across disciplines and delivery teams.
