Job summary

Hexagon Mining is seeking an Engineering Manager to build and lead a high-performing software engineering team focused on mining autonomy and data solutions. You will align product goals with technical strategy and mentor engineers across multiple geographies.

You will own delivery quality, governance, and long-term health of the platform, collaborate with Product Management, and drive organizational health through coaching, recruitment, and robust engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Engineering leadership experience (people leadership, technical leadership, project leadership, or a combination).
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with complex, long-lived, customer-facing products.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, architecture, design, testing, DevOps, and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical direction for the product, architecture, and delivery.
• Mentor contributors and support design decisions to deliver technically sound outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Management to understand customer problems and deliver valuable solutions.
• Own outcomes including scope, schedule, and quality; ensure governance, documentation, and development practices.
