Job summary

Bright & Duggan Group is expanding its engineering capability and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will build a high‑performing team, provide technical leadership across software delivery, cloud platforms, reliability engineering, security and operational excellence.

This hands‑on leadership role combines people leadership with delivery accountability as you collaborate with Product, Data, Technology

Qualifications

• Solid experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related disciplines.
• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong background in modern software architecture and engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern software delivery approaches.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD and engineering productivity improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop engineers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
