Job summary

GLI is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Systems Delivery team across the APAC region, based in Melbourne or Sydney. You will direct engineering delivery, coaching, budgeting, and schedules while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality results.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering management with strong networking, databases, and testing tool knowledge. Travel up to 20% and a focus on continuous improvement are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with operating systems, databases, networking, and hardware/software.
• In-depth knowledge of networking infrastructure, topology, client/server software, including OBDC databases, SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2.
• Knowledge of functional testing tools, Selenium and JIRA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting engineering delivery systems, tools, and processes.
• Establish team objectives and KPI’s and hold the team accountable to these performance goals.
• Provide technical guidance on gaming systems and gaming interfaces across online, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Own and continuously improve engineering delivery processes with scalable workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with QA, Compliance, and Delivery Management to improve delivery outcomes.
• Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements applicable to operations.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
