Job summary

ASC in Osborne, SA, is seeking an Engineering Manager for Emergency Management & Business Resilience to lead the program's resilience framework. You will shape emergency management capabilities, coordinate with regulators and international partners, and drive readiness and continuous improvement in a high-profile defence program.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience leading emergency management or business continuity.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with regulators and senior leaders.
• Ability to develop frameworks delivering lasting capability.
• Excellent communication and adaptability in high-risk environments.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the organisation's emergency management and business resilience capability from the ground up.
• Develop practical plans and processes that help teams respond confidently to incidents, disruptions and crises.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, training programs and simulation exercises to build readiness.
• Coordinate response and recovery efforts, helping the business remain resilient when challenges arise.
• Build strong partnerships with government agencies, emergency services, regulators and industry stakeholders,- local, national and international
• Identify emerging risks and drive initiatives that strengthen organisational resilience.
• Champion continuous improvement by turning lessons learned into lasting capability enhancements.
• Foster a culture of preparedness, accountability and operational excellence across the organisation.
