Blinq in Melbourne is seeking an Engineering Lead to shape the technical foundations for Blinq's next growth chapter. You'll work across architecture, platform engineering and developer experience to build scalable, reliable software.

This hands-on leadership role blends system design, code review, and mentoring, with a focus on AI-enabled engineering and practical improvements that uplift the whole team.

Qualifications

Proven track record in leading engineering teams.
Strong systems design and architecture capabilities.
Experience integrating AI into development workflows.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Define technical direction and architecture across squads.
Review proposals, trade-offs and ensure scalable design.
Lead hands-on coding, prototyping and tooling.
Improve CI/CD and developer tooling.
Coach engineers and grow team capabilities.
Drive AI-enabled engineering practices.
