Heidi is building the future of healthcare by delivering a world-class AI Care Partner. We’re seeking a senior engineer to lead the foundations team, owning Heidi's cloud platform, reliability practice, and engineering tooling to enable fast, safe shipping across products.

You will guide build, deploy, frontend and backend foundations, partnering with product and security to maintain high reliability and scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Significant experience owning developer platform, build and release.
• Healthcare or regulated tech experience is a plus.
• Hands-on with modern TypeScript/React and backend stack.
• Experience reducing deployment times and improving release frequency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the foundations team covering build, deploy, frontend and backend platform.
• Own the path from commit to production: build times, tests, canaries, rollouts and rollback paths.
• Set frontend foundations: library, design system, app shell, routing, performance budgets.
• Set backend foundations: service scaffolding, shared libraries, data access patterns.
• Drive developer experience, metrics, and frictionless shipping for product teams.
• Collaborate with Release Manager and engineering leads to align on priorities.
