Job summary

Demlakian Consulting Engineers in Sydney, NSW, seeks a highly motivated Structural/Civil Draftsperson to join our multidisciplinary team. You will produce robust drawings for civil and structural projects using AutoCAD, with attention to detail and deadlines.

Experience with Revit is advantageous; you will liaise with project managers and engineers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and company standards, and support timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in civil/structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural/civil drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works such as drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges and other structures.
• Liaise with project managers and engineers to ensure that drawings are produced in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Interpret work assignment instructions and apply appropriate procedures.
• Support project managers in coordinating project timelines and communication with clients and other consultants.
• Contribute to the review and revision of designs based on project feedback and requirements.

Key responsibilities
