Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in structural drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit.
• Experience documenting reinforced concrete, structural steel and retaining structures.
• Experience across civil infrastructure projects such as industrial warehouses, bridges and culverts.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and industry design guidelines.
• Ability to independently manage and deliver complete IFC documentation packages with minimal supervision.

About your new role

As a Senior Structural Drafter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality structural documentation across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, practical and buildable designs across the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.


• Delivering large and complex projects through to IFC with minimal supervision.


• Documenting structural systems including reinforced concrete, structural steel and retaining structures.


• Working across projects including industrial warehouses, bridges, culverts and other civil infrastructure.


• Collaborating with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated and buildable outcomes.


• Applying relevant Australian Standards and industry design guidelines.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5–10 years' professional experience in structural drafting, ideally within a consulting engineering environment.


• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Revit.


• Strong experience documenting reinforced concrete, structural steel and retaining structures.


• Experience across civil infrastructure projects such as industrial warehouses, bridges and culverts.


• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry design guidelines.
