Job summary

Compass Education is seeking a Head of Engineering to own end-to-end engineering delivery and people leadership across our engineering org, including Compass, SchoolBytes, Griddle and Clipboard.

You will translate technology and product priorities into predictable execution, develop a cohort of Development Managers, and own the operating model, capability, and delivery performance across ~40–50 engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading through engineering managers across multiple teams.
• 10+ years in software engineering with product/SaaS focus.
• Proven ability to scale engineering org and drive delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery performance across squads and roadmap.
• Define engineering operating model and capacity planning.
• Lead Development Managers and mentor team leaders.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to align priorities.
