Job summary

Compass is seeking a Customer Strategy Manager to identify and shape new opportunities across our education product portfolio. You’ll bridge strategy, product management and design, crafting prototypes and business cases for commercial viability.

Join a hybrid team in Australia with offices in Melbourne or Sydney, and collaborate across squads to bring ideas to life and guide early build decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in product strategy or product design, ideally with SaaS or EdTech exposure.
• Portfolio showing design taste and judgement, plus financial modelling and commercial sense.
• Experience building a business case or commercial rationale for a new product or feature.
• Working fluency with Figma and AI-assisted design tools used thoughtfully.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Comfort working across multiple teams without a fixed home base.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across our product portfolio to build more value for schools and educators.
• Run structured discovery with customers to understand real needs and priorities.
• Explore how new ideas could work commercially, including build, partner or buy options and create business cases.
• Produce thoughtful prototypes using Figma and AI tools to test ideas with customers.
• Handover concepts to product teams with a clear brief and stay involved in an advisory capacity.
