Job summary

Compass Education seeks a Customer Strategy Manager to identify and shape new product opportunities across its school management platform. You’ll work across strategy, product management and design, translating insights into prototypes and viable concepts for executives and product squads.

You’ll collaborate with multiple teams, bring commercially viable ideas to life, and test them with schools and educators using thoughtful discovery and prototyping approaches.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience across product strategy, product design or related field.
• Track record or portfolio showing design taste and judgement, with financial modelling and commercial reasoning.
• Experience building a business case or commercial rationale for a new product or feature.
• Working fluency in Figma and AI-assisted design tools; used thoughtfully.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Comfort working across multiple teams without a fixed home base.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across our product portfolio to build more value for schools and educators.
• Run structured discovery with customers to understand their needs and priorities.
• Explore commercial viability (build, partner or buy) and create business cases for executives.
• Produce thoughtful prototypes using Figma and AI tools to test with customers.
• Handover concepts to product teams with a clear brief and stay involved in advisory capacity.
