Job summary

Bowie Excavations & Retaining Walls is seeking a hands-on Retaining Wall & Excavation Skilled Labour / Trades Person to join our Geelong team. You’ll work closely with experienced operators on timber and concrete sleeper walls, excavation, and site preparation, with a 3-month trial and potential move to a permanent 4-day week for the right candidate.

You’ll need White Card, HR/HC is preferred, trade knowledge is a bonus, and a reliable work ethic with transport to site.

Qualifications

• White Card is required for construction work.
• Experience in construction or landscaping is preferred.
• HR/HC license is advantageous.
• Bobcat/Excavator licenses are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
• Install timber and concrete sleeper retaining walls.
• Excavation and site preparation work.
• Manage drainage and backfilling tasks.
• Operate machinery including excavators, bobcat and forklift on site.
