Job summary

As our Engineer, Technical Support, you’ll play a key role in delivering great customer experiences through expert, hands‑on service.

Your impact? You'll ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance for our customers' VSDs. Our service partners will be empowered with the knowledge to effectively support our products, and your feedback will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of our VSD offerings.

You’ll collaborate with sales and product development teams and take ownership of advanced on‑site technical support and service partner training.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead hands‑on, on‑site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex repairs on VSDs to deliver minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Support our service partners by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance their skills.
• Collaborate with the sales team on pre‑sales support, including product demonstrations and application analysis.
• Use your skills in technical support to assist internal and external customers through phone, email, and a rotating on‑call schedule.
• Continuously learn and share knowledge by providing valuable field feedback to the product development team to enhance our VSD offerings.

What We're Looking For

• Hands‑on experience in working with VSDs, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, and a strong ability to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and electronic systems, with a required Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (A grade license).
• Ability to work well independently, with a willingness to travel to customer and partner sites as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• A mindset of problem‑solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer and partner support.
