Job summary

Schneider Electric in Adelaide is seeking experienced Service Representatives for field service across the South Australia region. You will perform a range of installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on power systems equipment with support from a national team.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Electrical License.
• Current Driver's License; vehicle provided.
• Experience in Field Service or Maintenance.
• Ability to collaborate, work autonomously.
• Technical mindset and interest in new technologies.
• Strong HS&E commitment and risk awareness.
• Experience with variable speed drives is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Completing field service tasks across the Adelaide / South Australian region and other locations when required.
• Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Commissioning, site testing, system / firmware upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshooting.
• Providing technical support and specialist advice to Customers.
• Acting as a role model in relation to HS&E requirements and adherence to internal processes.
• Documenting service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory management.
• Identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirements.

The Team

Our Services team provides 24/7 servicing for: hospitals, utilities, data centers and just about everything in‑between. Our team is growing and we are currently seeking experienced Service Representatives to be based in Adelaide where you will play a hands‑on role to perform a variety of field service tasks in support of a diverse range of expanding Customer assets.

With a focus on Power Systems / Variable Speed Drives, (Switchgear, Circuit Breakers and a variety of assets across LV / MV / HV), you will leverage your specialist experience to support a variety of diverse Customer locations that are expanding within the growing markets that we service. Minimising downtime and maximising reliability, you will enjoy high‑quality training, the support of your team, engaged Leaders as well as ongoing development that supports your career ambitions as we harness technology to make an Impact.

This exciting new career opportunity will see you:

• Completing a variety of field service tasks across the Adelaide / South Australian region and other locations when required
• Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex; installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad‑hoc tasks

About You

• Current South Australian Electrical License
• Current Drivers License (we supply a Tool of Trade Vehicle!)
• Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance position
• Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required
• A technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is engaged in new technologies
• Well‑developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem‑solver / trouble‑shooter
• Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
• Any previous experience with variable speed drives would be a bonus
