Job summary

Moreland Community Child Care Centres in Brunswick West, VIC, is seeking a Sessional Kindergarten Teacher (ECT) for a part-time role. You will plan, implement and evaluate high-quality kindergarten programs, fostering engaging, inclusive learning aligned with EYLF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Current Victorian Early Childhood Teacher status or eligibility.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families and staff.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning in the early years.
• Experience with diverse groups and inclusion.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Reliability, flexibility and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Current VIT registration (VIT).

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality kindergarten programs.
• Create safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Observe and assess children's learning and document progress.
• Implement age-appropriate behaviour guidance strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to documentation.
• Support EYLF implementation.
• Collaborate with co-educators and support staff.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Communicate regularly with families about learning and wellbeing.
